Combined Enriched Air Diver Specialty
The benefits of diving with Enriched Air Nitrox (EANx)
are to increase your dive time with EANx tables, decrease
your surface interval, and feel less tired after dives.
However you may simply want to increase your safety
margin by using EANx on air tables. Completion of the
EAD specialty qualifies you to dive upto EANx40.
Q. How
much more time can I be underwater?
A. For
example, if you dive to 15 metres/50 feet on air, your
no decompression limit is 80 minutes. But, diving on
EANx36 gets you 220 minutes of no decompression time
- an increase of 140 minutes! Its perfect for
underwater photographers, wreck divers and anyone who
wants to stay down longer.
The combined AOWC & EAD
specialty comprises of 6 dives over 2 days, usually
a weekend.
You can complete your qualifying dives on one
of our Red Sea
trips.
Please ask for more details on costs and discounts available on overseas training.
